THIS EVENT IS A WEBINAR.
A commitment to sustainability has been gaining global momentum, with many countries, companies and individuals making their mark. 2020 marks 5 years from the launch of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals: a shared vision to end poverty, rescue the planet and build a peaceful world by 2030.
While progress has been made, the world is not on course. Change is happening on many fronts but not uniformly around the world. Across Asia, where 60% of the world's population lives, 1,340 businesses have joined the Global Compact to achieve and report against the goals. Meanwhile in Europe, which makes up 10% of the world's population, there are 5,339 businesses. A step-change is needed to help get the 2030 agenda back on track, and businesses in Asia will play an important role.
Integrating sustainability issues into a business can be overwhelming. As part of our Road to Net Zero series, this event will provide help on how to get started and how to turn good intent into action and results.
