Our Start Up, Entrepreneur & Small Business (SESB) committee has been revamped to provide a diverse and representative network of business sectors and industries.

This interactive session by Duane Morris & Selvam LLP is our first event in our Start Up Series which is aimed at businesses setting out to build a team and appoint directors and founders in its early stages.

The session will cover the key considerations in relation to:

  • Shareholder's and Founders' Agreements
  • Employment Contracts, Service Agreements and Offer Letters – Important provisions to include for business owners when hiring key staff
  • Employment Passes for foreign talent – tips to maximise your chances of approval

Key takeaways – After this session you should be able to:

  • Understand your role and obligations as a Director and your duties under Singapore law; Common Pitfalls facing directors.
  • Appreciate the importance of Shareholders' and Founders Agreements
  • Include provisions in employment contracts, which will protect you from bad hires and which protect your company's intellectual property
  • Apply for EPs strategically

BritCham would like to thank our Breakfast Club Series Partner, The Fry Group, for their continued support with the Chamber.
