At BritCham, we are committed to helping our members get new insights into the emerging skills that are needed to survive in a workplace that is continually evolving.

As part of our Future of Work initiative, we are launching a series of "Future Focus Workshops" to help members better understand and practice some of these key skills. Our ambition is to contribute to change mindsets around lifelong learning and skills mastery.

These taster sessions will be practical, interactive workshops that will help participants to implement actionable content back in their own workplace and to take ownership for their own training and personal development.

In this first workshop, Join Don Rapley of Transform your Conversations. focusing on developing your skills to network and connect effectively with your teams, clients and stakeholders. Growing strong relationships is key to your success in any business and making a strong connection is an important step in building trust for future collaboration.

Free flow, wines, beer & soft drinks along with canapes will be served at this event.

The events in the series continue with two other Future Focus Workshops:

Workshop 2 - Strengthening your Body & Mind:

Tuesday 8th October - 6:15 pm to 8:30 pm

In this workshop, we will concentrate on the importance of maintaining a strong and healthy body. There's plenty of evidence to show that by doing this you can improve your effectiveness at work and general well-being. We will explore some of the key factors around sleep quality, exercise patterns and nutrition and give you some good insights into how to shape up!

Workshop 3 - Telling your Unique Story

Thursday 14th November – 8:00 am to 10:00 am

Being able to convey to people what matters most to you is a key skill that helps you to build trust, understanding and engagement with your teams and stakeholders. Developing your skill to tell your own, unique story is at the heart of this!

In this highly engaging 3rd Workshop, we will explore some of the techniques of "personal storyboarding" and help you to craft and practice your own unique story.

Purchase your ticket for one event or for all three workshops!
