Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore's 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held virtually on Tuesday, 9th June from 6.30pm – 7.30pm. The Board is satisfied that a virtual meeting meets the requirements of both our Constitution and the Registry of Societies in Singapore.
Whilst we are disappointed that we are not able to hold the AGM at our usual venue of Eden Hall, a virtual AGM will still allow members to hear from President of the Chamber, Richard Warburton, Treasurer David Fowler and Executive Director David Kelly on the Chamber's achievements and activities during past year, as well as the plans and initiatives in the second half of 2020.
Those who have registered for the AGM in its original April date will need to re-register for the virtual platform by registering for the event or responding to our events team.
We are delighted to be supported on the evening by our Event Partners 8build Pte Ltd.
Primary Members are entitled to vote at the AGM. For Primary Members who are unable to attend the virtual meeting, kindly complete and send your Proxy Form to firstname.lastname@example.org by 11.30am on 8th June.
Members can view the audited accounts and financial statement which are available here.
If you have questions to raise at the meeting, we ask you to send it directly to the President Richard Warburton (email@example.com) by email before 2nd June. These will be addressed on the day itself.
All members are encouraged to attend this free event, which provides an official report of the year 2019/20 and the commencement of the incoming Board term for 2020/21.
The Zoom meeting link and password will be sent to registered attendees separately.
