Aylwin Tan is responsible for formulating and executing marketing and customer engagement strategies that includes driving new initiatives on market access, innovation and catalyzing industry development and transformation, for Ascendas-Singbridge. He is also Chairman of RIA Venture Capital, the holding company of AIRmaker, a co-innovation platform focusing on start-ups in the space of Internet of Things applied to digital healthcare, advanced manufacturing and smart cities with networks in China, India and Singapore.
Before his current role, Aylwin was part of the senior management team at the Economic Development Board (EDB). His many portfolios included Singapore’s regionalization projects - Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park; building EDB’s network in Asia Pacific; running EDB’s European operations out of Frankfurt, Germany. He also held roles as Director, Communications and Chief Information Officer.
Dario is the Managing Director for Hawksford corporate services in Singapore and South East Asia whilst managing a strategic portfolio of clients in China and Hong Kong.
He started his career in Hong Kong in 2003 working for an international law firm and developed a deep experience in assisting foreign investments into China, Hong Kong and South East Asia advising clients in connection to various aspects ranging from corporate, commercial to labour law.
Our Moderator for this event, Jennifer is highly experienced in large-scale financial transactions, supporting public and private sectors across Asia. Jennifer’s sector expertise includes Power & Energy (electricity generation/transmission/distribution and gas pipelines), Transport (Urban Rails, Toll Roads and Bridges, and Ports terminals), Water and Telecommunications/Fibre Network. Prior to joining PwC in 2008, Jennifer worked in Singapore Power Ltd and SMRT Corporation Ltd focusing on project management/evaluation, financial modelling and financial/strategic planning.
Steve is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Steve Vickers and Associates Limited (“SVA”), a specialist risk mitigation, corporate intelligence and security consulting company. While an acknowledged expert at resolving kidnapping and product extortion cases, he additionally draws upon an unrivalled network of contacts and information sources in spearheading a wide range of business risk mitigation services.
During some 18 years in the private sector, Steve has conducted numerous sensitive business intelligence projects, major financial investigations, international asset searches and crisis containment assignments. He has also led a number of crisis management teams faced by financial or other critical threats to multi-national corporations.
